FAQ
How do I make a digital business card?
Enter your name above, then any contact details you want to share (mobile, email, LINE, website and address are all optional), and tap "Done, get my card". You get a card link and a QR code that you can paste into LINE or an email signature, or print on a paper card.
What do people see when they scan it?
By default it opens your card page, with buttons to save you to their contacts, add you on LINE, call or email you. You can also switch the QR code to "Save the contact directly": the phone reads the contact details themselves, with no internet needed; what the screen shows after scanning depends on the phone, so scan it once with your own phone before printing it.
Do you store my details on your server?
No. What you enter is kept only in this phone's browser. The card link puts the card after the "#" in the address, and browsers never send that part to a server. That also means anyone with the link can see what is on the card, so only fill in what you are happy to share.
If I change my details, does the QR code I already gave out change too?
No. The card is contained in the link and the QR code themselves, so after changing your details you need to share a new link or QR code.
What do I enter for LINE?
Your LINE ID; for an official account include the "@" (for example @enscon). If your ID can't be searched, paste your add-friend link instead, the one starting with line.me or lin.ee.
I opened a card inside LINE and "Save to contacts" does nothing?
Some in-app browsers don't let web pages download files. If that happens, choose "Open in Safari" or "Open in Chrome" from the menu at the top right, then tap the button again and the add-contact screen appears.
How many cards can I make for free?
Two, for example one in English and one in Chinese, or one for your job and one for freelance work. Both are stored on this phone; if you switch phones or clear your browser data you need to fill them in again (links and QR codes you already shared keep working).
