Permanent QR Code Generator
Your link goes straight into the QR code with no redirect: it never expires, never shows ads, and needs no sign-up. Add a logo, change colors, download PNG and SVG.
Paste a link and your QR code appears here.
Give the SVG to your printer (it stays sharp at any size). Before printing, scan it once with your own phone, and don't trim the white border.
FAQ
Do QR codes made here really never expire?
Links, text, Wi-Fi and phone numbers are all "static" codes: the content is encoded in the pattern itself, so a phone reads it and opens it directly, without passing through our server or anyone else's. There is nothing that can expire. After generating, the page reads the code once with a decoder and shows you what it contains, so you can confirm it is your own link. The only way it stops working is if your link itself stops working (the site closes or the page is taken down).
Why do some free generators' QR codes start showing ads or stop working later?
Those are usually "dynamic" codes: the QR contains the generator's own short link, which sends visitors to them first and then on to your link. When the trial ends or their policy changes, they can stop the redirect or switch it to an ad page. To check, scan it with your phone and see whether the link that opens is on your own domain.
Will adding a logo make it unscannable?
It can, so this page does three things: it automatically uses the highest error correction level when you add a logo (level H, which tolerates about 30% damage), keeps the logo within 22% of the side length, and reads the code with a decoder right after generating it. If it can't be read, you are told immediately. Still, scan it with your own phone before printing.
Can I change the colors?
Yes, but the dots need to be darker than the background, with enough contrast. Many phones can't read inverted codes (light dots on a dark background), and the page warns you if you pick a combination like that.
PNG or SVG for printing?
SVG is a vector file and stays sharp even at poster size, so it is the safest choice for a print shop. PNG is 1024×1024 pixels, which is plenty for social media, slides and small flyers.
